Breathe
Vegan bistronomy experience, blending innovative plant-based cuisine with the elegance of bistro dining
Crafting and launching a website for a Parisian vegan bistronomy restaurant, showcasing its unique culinary values with dynamic visual identity
Challenge
Primary objective was to encapsulate Breathe's distinct visual identity, already well-established offline, into a custom online presence.
A significant challenge was the need to showcase multiple restaurants, as they had two locations in Paris, each with its own unique atmosphere and identity. Each subsites needed to not only unify these identities under the Breathe brand but also highlight the individuality of each location, ensuring a seamless yet differentiated user experience.
Solution
Discovery stage
The project started with a series of workshops aimed at defining the website's functional scope, architecture, and content strategy.
Following the initial planning phase, I crafted the website's wireframes, providing a structural blueprint for the user interface and experience. A professional designer then took over to develop the digital style guide and the interface designs, ensuring that the visual elements aligned with Breathe's established brand identity and the project's aesthetic goals.
Delivery stage
Upon approval of the design mockups, I proceeded with their integration into a custom Webflow project I had set up.
This phase included the implementation of product pages and the entire reservation system workflow, offering a streamlined process for both the Breathe team and their patrons.
The website was successfully launched in time for the opening of Breathe's second restaurant in the Montorgueil district in Paris. It effectively embodies the restaurant's vegan bistronomy concept and its unique atmosphere. This achievement demonstrates how the project's challenges were addressed with customized solutions, ensuring the site met all the specified requirements
Focus On
The innovative use of inline SVGs and CSS for dynamic color management.
By simply adjusting one property, we could change the main color theme of each page without the need for widespread modifications.
This approach allowed for dynamic control over the site's cloud elements' colors through CSS classes.
This technique not only streamlined the design process but also enhanced the site's visual cohesion and user experience.
